We had a great season last year with our Midget Division taking the State Champion Trophy and competing in the Regional games in Santa Clara, CA in 2009!
Several of our lower divisions competed in the playoffs in Anchorage also. Welcome to all of you who are new to our organization and a special thanks to those who are returning.

KPPW is open to kids living within our association boundaries. This includes the area from Cooper Landing to Sterling and Soldotna, Clam Gulch, Kasilof and Nikiski to Kenai. If there are any questions please contact us thru our website.
KPPW is open to anyone age 5-15 (league age is your age on July 31, 2010). Placement in a particular division is based on a combination of age/weight matrix, first registered, first placed, player preference and the needs of the organization to equalize the number of players in each division. We will do our best to place your player on a team she/he is qualified for, but the decision by the Board is final.
We are excited to offer a program where families can self-fundraise part of their registration fees! You must either pay in full or pay ½ the Registration fee first, then contact us to request a “Scratch Card Fundraising Packet” which can be done over the summer and 2nd payment plus the cost of the card ($20) can be turned in by or before the first day of practice. Or you can collect the money and pay by logging onto your Registration account by credit card or check. The following fees will be applied when you register:
Your Registration fee includes a Team Jersey (that your child keeps), and the loan of practice and game pants with girdle and pads, helmet and shoulder pads. Players may purchase a mouthguard for $2 or buy one from a store of their choice. Players will also need football cleats, a practice jersey (big enough to go over shoulder pads) and a bottle of water for each practice.
When you sign up for tackle football, please put your child in the lowest possible playing level based on age/weight. If you feel your child is able to lose weight to get to a lower level, you will need to input the maximum weight for that level of play during the registration process. Please review the National Pop Warner rules for weight gain/loss during the season.
We are trying to find a Cheer Director and coaches for starting Cheer Squads in each division. Please indicate your interest on the form under “Volunteers” or email us via our website. Coaching, Assistant Coaching, Team Mom/Manager positions are also available after you complete a background check.
You must read the General Information and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) sections of the website. These can be found under the ABOUT US, FOOTBALL, CHEER, FUNDRAISING and the refund policy under REGISTRATION tabs. You must read the National Pop Warner Parent Behavior Guidelines, and affirm you have read the Adult Code of Conduct and Member Code of Conduct during the registration process.
Much of our information is going to be provided by updates to our website and email notification. You are responsible for checking frequently for news and changes to registration, fundraising, game schedules and practices. Let your team mom or coach know if you have phone access only. Libraries have free internet access.
After signing up, we will keep you informed about the Opening Day Ceremonies/1st practice time and place, Coach, and instructions for what to bring. Please keep us informed of your email address and phone number if any changes.
