Registration begins in March so that we may plan for the Fall Season. This entails purchasing jersey’s, game and practice pants, helmets, equipment, insurance, paying league fees, providing coaches and ref training and numerous other costs associated with running a football program. These all have to be bought and paid for way before the first day of practice based on the number of registrants we have.
Therefore, we are unable to refund the first ½ of your registration fee/deposit (see exception below)
The second half of your registration fee may be refunded prior to the first day of practice if proof of household hardship is given: (examples)

Player is moving out of area

Player is injured and unable to start season

Parents are unable to arrange transportation to and from games and practice
Please put your request in writing thru our “Contact Us” link with the player’s name, team and date of birth included. Be sure to indicate “request for refund” in the subject line of the message. The decision of the KPPW board is final.
There is no registration refund available after the first day of practice. This includes trophy and jersey lettering fees as these have to be purchased in advance.
EXCEPTION: We are trying to form a Kenai Team again this year. Many Kenai/Nikiski residents do not register as they assume they will have to travel to Soldotna for practices and games and are unable to. If a Kenai/Nikiski resident registers and KPPW is unable to field a team in Kenai due to lack of players, coaches and/or refs, a full refund will be allowed. If a Kenai team is not formed the option will be for all Kenai Peninsula residents to participate on the Soldotna Teams.
